Chapter 15 in Knowledge Management:Through the Technology Glass, 2005, pp 239-253 from World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd.
Abstract:
AbstractThis chapter addresses the question of how new-age organisations need to practice knowledge management (KM) to ensure success. It provides broad guidelines for conducting KM in organisations and illustrates these with a series of real world cases. These cases highlight successful KM applications in organisations. By identifying critical steps, key factors and proven paths, this chapter attempts to put into the hands of managers, a practical tool that can help them unleash the power of knowledge in their organisations and thus ensure business success.
