Abstract:
AbstractThis chapter takes a look at the future. It explores two emerging trends in KM and identifies major issues and challenges they pose. The first is “automation”, involving the use of intelligent systems that apply knowledge to solve problems for and instead of humans. The second is “integration”, particularly the merging of knowledge management with e-commerce. The chapter ends with the concluding remarks from the author.
