Chapter 12 in Quality Management: A New Era, 2005, pp 143-160 from World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd.
Abstract:
AbstractMost organizations are affected by software either directly or indirectly. Organizations developing software in-house need to have good quality management in their software processes. Other organizations that outsource the software development need to recognize competent contractors through their quality management practice. The benefits of knowing quality software practices are not limited to software professionals. This paper provides an overview of the quality software practices for professionals in other trades.
