Abstract: AbstractBringing sustainability issues into the boardroom of companies is a central and important issue for a successful development of sustainable societies. The concept of Sustainable Business Management allows the integration of sustainability aspects into corporate activities; but it has to be embedded in a management system. Basically there is no special management system required, but it is advantageous to take an integrated and holistic management approach like Generic Management as basis.
