Chapter 12 in Distribution Models Theory, 2006, pp 221-231 from World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd.

Abstract: AbstractThe aim of this paper is to obtain a bivariate distribution that extends the Bivariate generalized Waring distribution (BGWD) and that preserves some of its properties, such as the partition of the variance into three distinguishable components due to randomness, proneness and liability. Finally, an example in the context of accident theory is included in order to illustrate the versatility of this new distribution.
