Abstract:
AbstractThe objectives of this paper are to give insight into medical multi-disciplinary patient flows, to quantify the occurrence of this phenomenon in Dutch general hospitals and to make a first step towards a solution. The approach to this problem is based on logistic analyses of these patient flows, as a control system needs to be based on the characteristics of the underlying processes.
