Abstract:
AbstractWe describe a middleware framework for context-aware applications. The key component in our framework is the Service Adaptation Model. The middleware infers the best service policy by making use of the fuzzification of different kinds of contextual information and by measuring and comparing the degree of fit between the current context and a predefined optimal context. Our system enables automatic service adaptation in changing contexts and provides best QoS services for pervasive applications.
