Abstract: AbstractWhy do we learn? It seems to me we learn so we can evolve. We can say it is about growth, about change, about competition, but ultimately, we are given the gift of learning so everything can move forward. I am not necessarily talking about Darwin's idea of survival, but I am not excluding it either. Religion requires learning in order to reach a state of grace no matter what the religion. Sports and Surgery and Mathematics and Physics require “seeing the field” as a whole, transcending the individual skills. And sometimes we learn by unlearning because what we've learned before blocks our path…
