Abstract:
Delta Electronics was established by Bruce Cheng in 1971 in Taipei with under US$10,000 and a staff of 15. It produced television coils and intermediate frequency transformers (IFT) for local and global television makers. It was established as a high-quality manufacturer. In 1978 it won the Outstanding Quality Award from the Radio Corporation of America (RCA) for supplying 20 million components over two years with no defects.
