A NET WORTH PERSPECTIVE
E Ray Canterbery
Chapter 14 in Inequality and Global Supra-surplus Capitalism, 2018, pp 225-234 from World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd.
Abstract:
Most economists do not like to look at net worth or wealth, except perhaps their own. If we are to understand the effects of the shift of supra-surplus capitalism to Casino Capitalism, however, we will find the answers in balance sheets. Balance sheets were once for nerds, but accounting firms could not flourish without them, nor could the Federal Reserve keep track of wealth changes.
