Advice and Skills for the Next Generation
Yacine Belhaj-Bouabdallah
Chapter 14 in Saving Ourselves:Interviews with World Leaders on the Sustainable Transition, 2017, pp 257-268 from World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd.
Abstract:
Many of the issues covered in this book examine changes our societies are likely to make over the next few decades to become more sustainable. The policies enacted and the mechanisms set in motion today will affect present generations minimally, compared to their effect on the young and future ones. As we consider the legacy we leave behind to future generations, it is crucial that we remind them not to repeat our past mistakes and that we leave the right institutions in place to ensure that their needs are considered and that our planet is preserved.
