Abstract: The Czech Republic is rich in historical, cultural and environmental diversity. Each of its 14 regions has something specific and unique to offer to its visitors; however, there are remarkable differences in the development of tourism at the regional scale. This rich history has left 2863 registered industrial monuments in the Czech Republic, which currently have the status of industrial heritage, and about 10,000 brownfields that could be protected from extinction (Valchařová, Beran & Zikmund, 2011)…
