Chapter 4 in Power Talk:Insights from Asia's Leading Entrepreneurs, 2018, pp 39-46 from World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd.
Abstract:
One family that has excelled in the business of succession is the Zobels of the Philippines, for the fact that their lineage is as long as their fortunes are wide. The family owns the majority of Ayala Corporation, the oldest conglomerate in the country, stretching all the way back to 1834, tracing its roots to Spanish landowners. Today, the seventh generation is running the company, with the eighth just off the starting blocks.
