Chapter 2 in Green Development of Asia-Pacific Cities:Building Better Cities Towards 2030, 2018, pp 23-54 from World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd.
Abstract:
Green development is inevitable for all cities and is determined by many factors. The components and influencing factors of urban green development are complicated, and the urban green development system is established by joint and mutual actions of many factors and environment systems in different ways. Although in practice, the effect of various green development factors may differ in different cities and at different stages of social and economic development; in the long run, the urban green development will be a balanced system, requiring organic integration and superposition of various factors and thus creating the resultant forces for green development.
