Abstract:
The following sections are included:Data for the study were collected from three sources: a baseline study of 2,008 households, results of simulations, and actual results of the schemes.The prospective insurance beneficiaries designed the benefits package themselves through a game-like simulation method called CHAT.A novel alternative method to proxy WTP for health insurance estimated WTP as 4.5% of mean food expenditure.
