Abstract:
The following sections are included:Data are sourced through a household survey conducted in five MIUs in the Philippines; responses from 804 uninsured households and 740 insured households were used for the study.Concentration curves and indices are used as indicators of equality of access to health care relative to household income.A novel method “ranking of the ranks” was developed to rank households by income, ensuring that regional differences are neutralized.
