Abstract: I would like to encourage you to be guided by three keywords: creativity, trust and optimism.Firstly, creativity, because nothing is more beautiful than what you can achieve yourself, by creating: a company, projects, etc. Then trust, i.e. trusting yourself, trusting your network, trusting your friends, your professors. And last but not least, optimism, or rather, a positive attitude toward the future, because it is better to build the future you hope for rather than the future others — industrialists, politicians, religions — have imagined for you. However, this is no easy task. As Jacques Monod, my mentor from the Pasteur Institute, once told me: in life, when you want to launch a project, you will come across three types of people: those who do the same thing, those who do the opposite, and those who do nothing, i.e. everybody! However, in no way should this discourage us from innovating…
