Esheke: The Sharing Platform for the Architecture Design Industry

Hai B Hu and Tao Huang

Chapter 3 in Digital Enablement and Innovation in China:A Casebook, 2019, pp 13-19 from World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd.

Abstract: In recent years, the overcapacity problem in the construction industry has become increasingly severe and tricky, and the question of how to adjust the industry structure has drawn a lot of attention. Small-and medium-design institutes are faced with two great dilemmas: first, due to the location and other limitations of the design institutes, they lack excellent designers, which prevents the design projects from forging the most optimized matching; second, the resources of designers remain unutilized in the limited number of projects in hand. Based on the status quo, Beijing Esheke Network Technology Co. Ltd. independently developed the platform website for the architecture design industry — Esheke Network — and is also committed to the establishment of a sharing platform for the designers, design institutes and developers to carry on information communication, business interaction, and design coordination with each other.
