Abstract:
AbstractTo continue our trilogy on value capture, we look at differentiation strategies in this chapter. Value capture involves a complete understanding of the network of the analyzed company and a redesign of activities to increase margins and so capture more value. I call this the “value capture trilogy”, since in my understanding we have three major ways of carrying out this strategy. The first major way of capturing value, reducing costs to increase margins and value, was discussed in the previous chapter. The last bundle of activities, which will be discussed in the next chapter, relate to collective action…
