Abstract: Since 2009, the author has written a large number of policy articles explaining that the US quantitative easing (QE) would help the global economy avoid a great depression similar to that in the 1930s. However, the QE would alsoseed the possibility of asset bubbles and then crises in economies outside the US; andcause a huge global exchange rate cyclein the later phase of the global economic recovery (i.e., when the US interest rate and the US dollar start to rebound substantially during the later phase of the US economic recovery)…
