Abstract:
Entrepreneurs are relegated to a black box in economics because most economic models focus on equilibrium conditions, whereas entrepreneurs thrive in and often create disequilibrium. Leaving the entrepreneur out of the analysis is particularly inappropriate regarding environmental issues because nature is constantly changing, as are the demands society places on nature.
