Today, the resources and capabilities available to companies for product and service development are more widely shared, but they are accordingly complex to navigate and leverage successfully. Today, the possibilities that exist for leveraging innovation are immense — entire networks of users, suppliers, and technology lie at the doorstep of the enterprise waiting to be utilized. Not only do companies have to look within the walls of the organization to see where creativity and innovation can be leveraged, they also have to look at the entire ecosystem and value chain to transform the resources of the ecosystem into valuable innovations…
