Chapter 8 in Project Risk Analysis Made Ridiculously Simple, 2017, pp 121-136 from World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd.
Abstract:
In this chapter, we will continue to learn about event chain methodology. We will focus on relations between events or event chains. Events may have different types of relationships between them: events can trigger one another or events can be simply correlated with each other. Events can execute activities, which have other events assigned to them. Event chains simply model risk response plans, repeated activities, resource leveling, and other effects in project schedules. We will also learn how to identify and analyze event chains.
