Lev Virine and Michael Trumper

Chapter 11 in Project Risk Analysis Made Ridiculously Simple, 2017, pp 163-172 from World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd.

Abstract: In this chapter, we will learn about analyzing other uncertainties, related to project schedules. A task or a project can be canceled because of risk events or because they reach a certain deadline. Risk analysis helps to determine a task or a project success rate, which could be an important factor in making project decisions. Probabilistic calendars can be useful in modeling uncertainties in weather or resource availability. Risks and uncertainties can be also be related to work and resource allocation. Resource leveling can be performed as part of project risk analysis.
