Green Entrepreneurial Economy: The Central Asian Model and Sustainable Development Scenarios Through 2030

Abstract: This research aims to outline the contours of a green entrepreneurial economy model in Central Asia and scenarios for its sustainable development during the Decade of Action. As a result of econometric research, the author developed a model of the green entrepreneurial economy in Central Asia. This model clarifies the impact of environmental governance on entrepreneurship for the green economic growth of Central Asia, highlighting its theoretical significance. Additionally, the author proposes a set of alternative scenarios for the sustainable development of the green entrepreneurial economy in Central Asia during the Decade of Action. The key conclusion is that during the Decade of Action, the higher the activity in implementing environmental governance tools in Central Asian entrepreneurship, the faster the pace of green economic growth. However, the primary risk to the green entrepreneurial economy in Central Asia lies in the predicted decline in entrepreneurial activity among employees, which was forecasted across all scenarios examined. To fully realize the potential of the green entrepreneurial economy in Central Asia, the author recommended a scenario emphasizing maximum growth in implementing environmental governance tools in entrepreneurship. The author’s scientific, methodological, and practical developments hold significant practical value. First, they provide a comprehensive and highly effective toolkit for environmental governance in Central Asian entrepreneurship. Second, they support implementing the SPECA program “Green Development” and the SCO program “Green Belt” in Central Asia. Third, they pave the way for developing a roadmap for advancing the green entrepreneurial economy in Central Asia through 2030.
