Green Investments in Developing a Climate Economy for the Sustainable Advancement of Entrepreneurship during the Fifth Industrial Revolution

Abstract: This research aims to identify the prospects for the sustainable development of entrepreneurship within the climate economy of moderately paced Asian countries during the Fifth Industrial Revolution, leveraging green investments. The authors examine the experiences of the top 15 climate economies in Asia in 2024 and model the relationship between the manifestations of sustainable entrepreneurial development in the climate economy and the factors of entrepreneurial activity in Industry 5.0 with and without green investments. The model demonstrates that green investments minimize the environmental damage caused by entrepreneurial activities in Industry 5.0 and maximize their contribution to combating climate change. The primary conclusion is that green investments harmonize the ecological and technological aspects of entrepreneurial development, rendering it more resilient within the contemporary integrated framework of the climate economy and the Fifth Industrial Revolution. The theoretical contribution of these findings lies in establishing that green investments occupy a central role among the factors influencing the climate economy during the Fifth Industrial Revolution, serving as catalysts for sustainable entrepreneurial growth. The empirical significance of the identified alternative scenarios is that they can enable Asian countries, particularly Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, to enhance the resilience of their entrepreneurial sectors while accelerating decarbonization and strengthening their positions in Industry 5.0 markets. It is recommended that Asian nations increase green investments to bolster entrepreneurship in support of developing the climate economy under the conditions of the Fifth Industrial Revolution, thereby improving the management practices of sustainable development for Asian entrepreneurship within this evolving economic landscape.
