Corrective Recovery Responses
Petter Gottschalk
Chapter 3 in Convenience Orientation in Corporate Crime:Corrective Recovery Responses for Compliance and Conformance, 2025, pp 61-77 from World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd.
Abstract:
A number of triggers can cause corrective responses to corporate crime. In the perspective of convenience theory, triggers reduce the convenience of illegal actions by deviant actors. The status of offenders might decline, the access to resources might be restricted, institutional deterioration might be reversed, oversight and guardianship might be revitalized, and criminal market forces might be avoided (Gottschalk, 2022).
