Abstract:
Compliance refers to meeting legal and other formal obligations (Teichmann and Wittmann, 2022). Compliance refers to obeying the formal rules and regulations in force at a given time and place, where “compliance relates to formal mandatory regulations that typically enact only minimal conditions of institutional acceptability” (Durand et al., 2019: 300).
