Chapter 6 in The Role of Entrepreneurship in Resolving Modern Global Economic Problems:A Systemic Review, 2026, pp 55-63 from World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd.

Abstract: This research addresses issues related to selecting an organizational structure, business development, and the expansion of partnerships, with a detailed examination of choosing a franchisor when entering into a commercial concession agreement. It presents an algorithm for analyzing the market, consumer preferences, the financial condition of the franchisor, and other aspects concerning the efficiency and feasibility of selecting a partner in the franchise market. The authors unveiled their perspective on developing a commercial company (whether by expanding an in-house network or through franchising). The research visualizes the key stages of analysis when selecting an entity for a commercial concession agreement, covering six phases from the initial idea of entering the franchise market to the agreement finalization. A rational approach based on in-depth research of market trends and consumer preferences makes it possible to identify several potential niches of interest to entrepreneurs for considering the proposed franchises. The methodology for analyzing a franchisor in the market is tested using the example of three companies engaged in commercial activities, represented in the franchise market, and experienced in signing commercial concession agreements. An example analysis of selected proposals according to several points of the proposed algorithm is provided.
