Abstract:
If we look at history, it is evident that the cooperative form of labor organization has proven itself positively, particularly in producing plant and animal products in rural areas. During economic and political crises, cooperative management of households and labor activities based on cooperation enabled the production of unattainable and unmanageable goods under individual farming. Cooperative labor entails joint, coordinated actions, with ownership also grounded in cooperative principles rather than personal ownership. Balanced labor and full employment are achieved by allocating labor resources across the national economy’s main sectors and industries (or the population’s distribution by industries and employment sectors). Rural labor resources and their distribution are significantly differentiated depending on historically established labor traditions, the types of settlements (i.e., urbanized or non-urbanized), and the development of the socio-economic production structure, particularly the varying weight of agriculture in public production. A notable concentration of population density favoring cities indicates the low attractiveness of rural areas and an overall imbalance in the regional distribution of labor resources.
