The Impact of COVID-19 on Agriculture and Food Security in the East African Community Region

Abstract: COVID-19 has proved, just within a year of its advent, that it is a pandemic and a menace with far-reaching impacts on agriculture and food security situation in the East African Community (EAC) region, necessitating applying all available means to put it under effective control and recognizing that it has high propensity levels for mutation, and which complicates decisive, pivotal, and terminal control.
