Abstract: OBJECTIVE-To determine if the increase in consumption of food away from home has contributed to the increased weight of the US youth. METHODS: Multiple regression will be used to estimate the effect of food source on body mass index (BMI) while accounting for other factors which have been shown to affect weight in a nationally representative sample of the U.S. population.
