Abstract: Increased funding for agri-environmental programs and increased regulation of manure waste will affect the U.S. agricultural sector and environmental quality. This paper explores the economic and environmental consequences from livestock producers' adoption of manure management strategies and crop producers' use of manure nutrients under various payment schemes.
