No 21421, 2006 Annual meeting, July 23-26, Long Beach, CA from American Agricultural Economics Association (New Name 2008: Agricultural and Applied Economics Association)

Abstract: The use of Balanced Scorecards to measure the attainment of strategic objectives has been used for a number of years in industry (Kaplan and Norton, Harvard Business School). Only recently has this analysis been extended to educational and other service organizations. Even more recently has software been available to map and measure the attainment of these objectives.
