Abstract:
This study examines. the sensitivity of country grain elevators to energy shortages. Supplemental explanatory variables include harvest days, elevator size, elevator location, and whether the elevator uses dry aeration. Elevators are seen to be sensitive to energy allocation with favorable effects found with respect to harvest days and dry aeration.
