Land Use/ resource Inventory Systems: An Information Paradigm

Abstract: The fundamental concepts of information theory are used to construct a conceptual framework for the creation and operation of land use and/or natural resource inventory systems. Such a framework is the initial step in creating a general' theory of inventory systems. Several systems exist without a theory.
