John W. Goodwin
No 284051, 1975 Annual Meeting, August 10-13, Columbus, Ohio from American Agricultural Economics Association (New Name 2008: Agricultural and Applied Economics Association)
Abstract:
The charge that was given to those invited to make presentations in this session was to "share your thoughts on what it takes to be effective as an undergraduate teacher." Any assigned responsibility can be approached from either a micro-or a macro-view. The micro view would be to examine the problem of effective teaching with the objective of improving the performance of individuals _involved in teaching. The macro-view would be concerned with improving the performance of aggregates such as departments or professions.
