Direct Energy Use in Milk Production: Methodology and Coefficient

Abstract: Points of energy usage on dairy farms must be identified to assist in conservation and allocation. Procedure illustration includes an example farm and a discussion of the major uses of electricity. The fixed and variable energy needs of selected chores are quantified. Use is, catalogued by type of energy.
