Abstract:
It is no secret that commodity markets in the U.S. and the world have performed poorly in recent years. I trust you will take my word that the evidence is in the data, and the data are all around you. A great deal has already been said or is being said about this, in present and past papers delivered to the Association, and I see little reason to labor the issue.
