No 283890, 1976 Annual Meeting, August 15-18, State College, Pennsylvania from American Agricultural Economics Association (New Name 2008: Agricultural and Applied Economics Association)

Abstract: Regional patterns of egg production :in the United States have undergone significant changes in recent years. We 'have seen declines in the North and East along ,with increases in the South and West. The structure of the industry will be subject to further pressures as producers begin to feel the full impact of Federal and State pollution control regulations, which will have unequal influence on individual producers and, in general, differential impacts on the various regions.
