Abstract: The energy value of different tillage equipment and farm machinery is presented in this paper based on industry sources. Discounting, scrappage and utilization are discussed. Comparisons are made between the new disaggregated data and initial attempts to determine farm machinery's embodied energy content based on the energy content of automobiles.
