A Low Cost Strategy for Reducing Agricultural Nonpoint Pollution in Lake Erie

Abstract: A model is developed to simulate changes in net farm income in the Lake Erie Basin under alternative crop management practices. Result indicate that adoption of reduced tillage technologies on appropriate soil series causes little change in net farm income while nearly halving Basin soil loss.
