Abstract: The 1973 and 1977 Farm Bills are two legislative acts specifying guides for agricultural policy. The major differences between the two Acts and the consequences are discussed.' An analysis of an assumed extension of the 1973 Act in lieu of the 1977 Farm Bill is presented.
