Abstract:
Data were gathered in 1978 from 70 nonprofit primary health care centers (PHCCs) in Pennsylvania. These data were used for analyzing the financial viability of PHCCs. Financial viability is enhanced if the center (1) isn't located near other physicians (2) doesn't have a quality assurance program, and (3) isn't overcommitted to administrative resources.
