Robert Weaver and William T. McSweeny

No 279138, 1982 Annual Meeting, August 1-4, Logan, Utah from American Agricultural Economics Association (New Name 2008: Agricultural and Applied Economics Association)

Abstract: A complete system of input and multiple output choice functions which by duality are consistent with the hypothesis of expected profit maximization are presented. Estimates are based the 1974 U.S.D.A. Cost of Production survey data and establish considerable price responsiveness of choices, a result which contradict's past econometric dairy supply studies.
