Abstract:
As the surplus of dairy products has grown, tax incentives for investments in dairy production assets have increased. This has caused some concern with regard to the consistency of our tax and price support policies. This paper examines current tax incentives for dairy investments and evaluates legislation that would reduce these incentives.
