Abstract:
Upon estimating the linkages between expenditures in the agricultural sector and output in other economic sectors, a modified regional input-output model was used to analyze the economic effects of a farm program on the regional non-agricultural economy of the Texas High Plains. The results demonstrate that impacts of farm programs vary over economic sectors.
