Carlos Arnade and Cecil W. Davidson

No 278099, 1986 Annual Meeting, July 27-30, Reno, Nevada from American Agricultural Economics Association (New Name 2008: Agricultural and Applied Economics Association)

Abstract: A 19-equation econometric analysis of demand for U.S. wheat exports, 1961-83, indicated importers' wheat production, importers' income, and the U.S. wheat price were major demand determinants. Average 1-year price, income, and exchange rate elasticities were inelastic; -.2 to -.4, .4 to .5, and -.06 to -.24 respectively.
