Abstract:
Multivariable quadratic and linear response and plateau (LRP) functions were estimated for corn, soybeans and wheat in central Indiana. Statistical tests support the quadratic for corn and soybeans and the LRP for wheat. Fertilizer recommendations derived with the quadratic estimates are substantially higher than those derived with the LRP function.
