Abstract: Excerpts from the Introduction: This list is similar to Agricultural Economics Bibliography No. 54, entitled "Measures of Major Importance Enacted by the 73d Congress." It is designed as a companion to that list and attempts to show amendments to laws listed therein, and to bring to date information concerning various New Deal agencies. A file of Proclamations of the President through No. 2160, March 5, 1936 and of Executive Orders through No. 7318, March 18, 1936 was examined, and some of the more important ones selected for inclusion. Also a few later Proclamations and Executive Orders have been included. It must be kept in mind, however, that this information is incomplete and subject to amendment and change at any time by the issuance of further Executive Orders. Owing to the nature of the material it was difficult to arrange it systematically throughout. For the most part the arrangement is by subject under which the items are chronological except in some cases where they are arranged according to the importance of the legislation. In most cases resolutions and documents have been put at the end. When the chronological order was not followed the important word or phrase has been underscored. In some few instances as under Lands, the arrangement is alphabetical.
